U.S. TIME: President Barack Obama is expected to speak about the regime change in Egypt at 1:30 p.m.
According to CNN, Mr. Obama was informed about the resignation of the Hosni Mubarak during a meeting at the White House before Omar Suleiman read out the brief statement that power had been passed to Egypt’s military.
